- On a beautiful Sunday in September, eight members of the Cornell Club of the Berkshires met at the Mount in Lenox to tour Edith Wharton's historic home. Knowledgeable tour guide Wendy Gash led us through the wonderful building, which is in the midst of an impressive renovation. After the tour, the group enjoyed light fare at the Mount's Terrace Cafe. A good time was had by all, who discovered a number of common pre-Berkshire life experiences in Bethesda, Maryland. Thanks to Kathy Erickson for making all the arrangements.
