PROPOSED BY-LAW CHANGE
- Our original bylaws called for one secretary. Because of the volume of work involved, the Board of Directors recommends splitting this job into two: Corresponding Secretary and Communications Secretary. In order to accommodate the change, the following amendments are needed in the Constitution:
Article HI-Officers Sect. 1. Eliminate the word "Secretary" and add in its place "Recording Secretary, Communications Secretary."
Sect. 3a. Add the word "recording" in front of the word "secretary."
Sect. 4. Add the word "Recording" in front of the word Secretary (in two places). Strike "shall conduct the general correspondence and"
Sect. 5. Shall now read "Communications Secretary. The Communications Secretary shall be responsible for all correspondence of the club including the preparation of all mailings to members and prospective members and the maintenance of the Club's Website."
Article VH-Amendments Add the word "Recording" in front of Secretary and change "Corresponding Secretary" to "Communications Secretary."
